McFadyen Digital is seeking a Solution Architect with a strong background in eCommerce or Marketplace experience.
The candidate will master and implement evolving technologies around digital commerce and marketplaces.
They will engage in discussions about enterprise transformation with Fortune 500 executives.
The role involves mentoring team members on new technologies and architecting scalable solutions.
Collaboration with delivery managers on the technical aspects of major client implementations is essential.
The position requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in solution architecture, technology implementation, consultative selling, and hands-on full lifecycle IT systems development.
The candidate will provide hands-on leadership to a technical team in a growing services company.
Effective management of customer expectations and communication with delivery teams is crucial.
The role is 100% remote.

Requirements:

The candidate must have development experience in one or more of the following technologies: Java, Python, RoR, PHP, or C#.
Experience with microservices-based architectures and frameworks like Spring Boot, BFF, MuleSoft, and Apache Service Mix is required.
Proficiency in Cloud Computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is necessary.
The candidate should have experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, Dynamo, MariaDB, MySQL, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, or Node is essential.
Additional qualifications include experience with PWA technologies, DevOps, and Infrastructure as code.
Experience with enterprise eCommerce platforms and integrating commerce solutions to retail software is a plus.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple methodologies, including Agile/Scrum, are required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary for client interactions and project documentation.
