ScienceLogic is seeking a Solutions Architect to act as the primary technical interface and subject matter expert for the ScienceLogic product line.
The role involves delivering expert-level consulting and technical support to customers, ensuring solutions are implemented with precision and satisfaction.
The Solutions Architect will serve as a trusted advisor for ScienceLogic platforms, including SL1, Skylar, PowerFlow, and Restorepoint.
Responsibilities include collaborating with customer technical and leadership teams to guide platform architecture and strategic implementation decisions.
The position requires leading technical workshops and design sessions to define system requirements, create architectural diagrams, and deliver comprehensive documentation.
The Solutions Architect will design and develop customized solutions tailored to specific client requirements, working closely with Sales and Customer Success teams.
Custom components to be created include Dynamic Applications, Run Book Automations, Dashboard Widgets, Reports, Integrations, and Scripts.
The role involves translating customer needs into functional requirements and technical deliverables that align with best practices and product capabilities.
High-quality technical documentation will be produced, including architecture and design documents, system assessments, gap analyses, and deployment requirements checklists.
The Solutions Architect will act as a customer advocate, identifying product improvement opportunities and providing feedback to internal product and engineering teams.
The position also includes leveraging field experience to drive continuous improvement in deployment methodologies, documentation, and customer onboarding processes.
Contributions to the development and refinement of best practices for system scalability, reliability, security, and monitoring are expected.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure monitoring and support.
A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Linux operating system is necessary.
Proven experience in designing and deploying IT infrastructure, application monitoring, and performance solutions is essential.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage priorities and maintain a positive, solutions-oriented attitude in high-pressure situations.
Strong leadership and organizational skills are required, with the capability to manage multiple complex projects and coordinate effectively across teams.
