The Senior Mobile Engineer will work in the Mobile Delivery team, conducting medium-to-high complexity technical projects autonomously.
This role involves providing technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, conducting code reviews, and ensuring technical excellence.
Responsibilities include participating in coding, architectural discussions, and proposing process improvements.
The engineer will develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native (Typescript) and work with native Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Objective-C/Swift) code.
The position requires managing mobile app delivery to testers and production environments and ensuring high product quality through automated testing practices.
The engineer will monitor and diagnose production issues using various observability and analytics tools and collaborate with Backend and Infrastructure teams.
Requirements:
Strong experience in developing applications using React Native, including state management libraries like Redux/Apollo GraphQL.
Familiarity with React Native's new architecture, push notifications, deep links, and Redux middlewares is required.
Experience with third-party SDK integrations and exposing methods to the React Native layer is necessary.
Experience in developing native mobile applications for Android and iOS is a plus.
Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests is required.
Familiarity with test automation practices, including TDD and BDD, is essential.
Understanding of Backend For Frontend (BFF) concepts is necessary.
Familiarity with mobile CI/CD tools and processes is required.
Experience with debugging and monitoring tools such as Firebase Crashlytics, New Relic, Amplitude, or Databricks is necessary.
The candidate should demonstrate strong autonomy, ownership mindset, and the ability to drive delivery with minimal supervision.
