Remote Sr. SAP IQ (formerly Sybase IQ) Database Administrator

Description:

• Seeking an experienced Sr. SAP IQ Database Administrator to support design, development, optimization, and administration of SAP IQ database environments.
• Role requires expertise in SAP IQ, data engineering, ETL operations, and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen with eligibility for government clearance.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in enterprise database environments.
• Ability to lead design, implementation, and operational support of SAP IQ and data integration solutions.
• Experience with SAP Data Services for ETL workflows.
• Knowledge of SAP IQ developer tools and IDEs.
• Experience with logical data models, schemas, and data validation processes.
• Proficient in Linux (RHEL) and Windows OS.
• Familiarity with multiple file formats (fixed-width, delimited, XML, text).
• Knowledge of programming languages (C/C++, Java, Python, Perl) and shell scripting.
• Strong experience with JDBC and SQL query optimization.
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
