Remote Sr. Software Engineer

Description:

• Concierge Auctions is a company that specializes in the auction of luxury properties, having closed over $4B in sales since 2008.
• The company is looking for a full-time Senior Software Engineer to develop, implement, document, and maintain technology solutions.
• The ideal candidate will primarily be an individual contributor while also engaging in broader strategy and team-building discussions.
• Responsibilities include researching, scoping, developing, deploying, and maintaining features on the application stack, responding to bug tickets, and engaging in forecasting delivery dates.
• Daily check-ins with the Technology team are required, along with performing code reviews and working with cross-functional teams.
• The technology stack includes Node.js and React.js, focusing on providing a rich user experience and supporting internal analytics.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience with React.js, Angular.js, or other frontend JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with TypeScript or other strongly typed programming languages is required.
• Proficiency in Node.js and deploying web applications is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience designing and building applications from scratch and innovating on legacy technology platforms.
• Additional preferred qualifications include experience with Next.js, Queue systems like BullMQ, Contentful CMS, Websockets, Payment systems, Real Estate Technology solutions, Server Side Components in React, web optimization strategies, Sentry setup, and Test Driven Development using Jest and React Testing Library.
