Description:
Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure for data engineering and analytics workloads in Databricks and Azure.
Collaborate with data scientists, platform engineers, and DevOps for seamless integration between Databricks, data lakes, and other cloud services.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Pulumi), and monitoring systems.
Drive improvements in security, observability, and automation for Azure and Databricks environments.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to infrastructure best practices and internal tooling development.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, software engineering, data engineering, or a related field.
Five (5) years of related employment experience.
Experience with Python, cloud services (AWS and/or Azure), and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Pulumi).
Proficiency in Databricks or equivalent distributed computing frameworks, data engineering pipelines, and orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring tools (Grafana, DataDog, Prometheus, Cloudwatch).
