Description:

MimoLabs is developing Mimo, an agentic system for creating physical objects through various manufacturing processes.
The Staff AI Engineer will manage Mimo's reasoning, evaluations, and tool interactions, collaborating closely with the CTO and engineering team.

Requirements:

Experience with agent systems in production, including tool use and failure recovery.
Proven ability in evaluation design, including graded suites and regression gates.
Strong skills in context engineering, managing prompts, retrieval, and memory.
Proficiency in tool design with reliable contracts for models.
Proficient in Python, with experience in a large production codebase or published benchmarks.
Excellent writing skills for creating actionable evaluation reports.

Competitive salary range of $170K–$220K plus equity, with a four-year vesting schedule.
