Description:
- Cobalt seeks a Staff AI Engineer to enhance the reliability, security, and cost-efficiency of AI agents in production.
- The role involves setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and collaborating across teams to improve agent systems and software development practices.
Requirements:
- 8–10+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership.
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based agents in production and improving agent reliability.
- Strong knowledge of agent architectures, backend systems, and security risks in agent systems.
- Experience with production observability and incident investigation.
- Evidence of impact beyond personal contributions, such as shared platforms or standards.
