Remote Staff AI Platform Engineer

Description:

• Drive the business-side Bedrock runtime and gateway configuration, including access modeling and quota management.
• Build and manage the MCP fleet, ensuring secure and stable operations for business applications.
• Author MDM config payloads and manage desktop client setups for non-technical employees.
• Develop AI and agent-triggered automations for business processes.
• Set technical direction for agent-hosting substrate and establish design standards.
• Define metrics for "healthy" and "safe to ship" for agents and MCP servers.
• Build governance standards for data sensitivity and model management.
• Align IT, Security, and DevX teams on platform direction and standards.

Requirements:

• 6+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps with production ownership experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (IAM, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Full-stack development skills, including backend services and CI/CD.
• Ability to build MCP servers or API integrations from scratch.
• Experience with LLMs, including API usage and prompt engineering.
• Self-directed with the ability to navigate ambiguous tasks.
