Description:
- Lead the development of Android-based products on custom hardware, owning the application layer end-to-end.
- Collaborate with hardware vendors, shape AOSP integration, and set engineering standards for building, testing, and shipping on devices.
Requirements:
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 8 to 12 years of software engineering experience with significant depth in Android platform or systems engineering.
- AOSP fluency and deep understanding of Android's security model.
- Hands-on experience with update mechanisms and comfort with adb shell for debugging.
- Experience shipping products where WebView is the primary UI surface.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
