Remote Staff Backend Engineer, Data Ingestion

Description:

• Own the backend platform and observability systems for Scribe's Workflow Mapping capture and ingestion systems.
• Build systems to ensure reliable data capture and flow into processing and AI pipelines.

Requirements:

• Deep experience in building backend applications and managing complex production systems.
• Strong Python skills; familiarity with TypeScript and Go is a plus.
• Experience with distributed systems and large-scale data ingestion pipelines.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability systems for production health.
• Proficient with message queues and task orchestration tools (e.g., Celery, SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining production services in AWS.
• Ability to create technical roadmaps and lead cross-team engineering efforts.
