Remote Staff Cloud Networking Engineer

Description:

• Own cloud networking across the engineering organization, architecting, building, and operating the network foundation.
• Design and deploy IPv6-native VPC architecture and networking for EKS workloads, with a focus on multi-cloud connectivity as the organization scales.

Requirements:

• Deep, hands-on AWS networking expertise with production experience.
• Strong vendor-agnostic networking fundamentals (IPv4/IPv6, routing, DNS, TCP/IP, BGP, NAT).
• Proven ability to set technical direction and establish standards across an organization.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting IPv6 in cloud environments.
• Production experience with AWS networking primitives (VPCs, transit/peering, IPAM).
• Familiarity with private DNS in Route 53 and public DNS management.
• Kubernetes networking experience, particularly with EKS.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or equivalent).
• Ability to operate independently and communicate architectural decisions clearly.
