The Data Science organization is responsible for building, maintaining, and monitoring production ML models and risk management tools.
The Staff Data Scientist will be part of the Core ML team, which owns the core fraud detection model and model training and evaluation infrastructure.

Requirements:
A degree in computer science or a comparable analytical field is required.
Candidates must have 7+ years of post-undergrad work experience with production-grade ML.
Deep ML expertise with a solid foundation in machine learning, experimentation, and model evaluation techniques is necessary.
Proven experience leading technical initiatives and influencing decision-making across teams is essential.
Strong communication skills are required to explain complex ML topics to non-technical audiences and to visualize analytical results.
A strong product and business mindset with a passion for applying data science to solve real-world problems is needed.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and key ML libraries is mandatory.
Bonus points for previous work in fraud, payments, or e-commerce, a passion for writing well-tested production-grade code, and a Master's Degree or PhD.
