Remote Staff Engineer, Full Stack (Trust, Safety & Risk)

Description:

• Build systems to safeguard users, products, and platform at Phantom.
• Work across the stack to detect and prevent abuse, assess risks, and reduce financial loss.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
• Experience with reliable, data-intensive production systems.
• Strong product judgment balancing user experience and financial risk.
• Proficiency in frontend, backend, APIs, data pipelines, and third-party integrations.
• Interest in protecting users and building trustworthy financial products.
• Nice to have: Experience in fraud, risk, identity, KYC, AML, payments, fintech, or blockchain.
• English language proficiency.
