Remote Staff Frontend Engineer - Video

Description:

• Lead the Video Editor team as a technical expert, actively involved in coding and project direction.
• Integrate Canva's new native video rendering engine and develop a new data model for video editing.
• Ensure operational ownership post-launch, including monitoring and observability of projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a technical lead with hands-on coding skills in TypeScript and React.
• Experience with complex web applications and understanding of frontend-backend interactions.
• Strong operational ownership mindset, measuring and monitoring project success.
• Nice to have: experience in audio engineering, video editing, real-time collaborative editing, graphics programming, C++, and design tools.
