Remote Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Description:

• webAI is a software company focused on building a decentralized AI development platform that enables powerful AI development using limited data.
• The company is looking for an experienced Staff Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and/or Mixture of Experts (MoEs).
• The role involves leading the development and optimization of LLMs and MoEs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into the platform, and conducting research to improve model performance and efficiency.
• The candidate will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.

Requirements:

• An advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• A proven track record of innovations through publications or industry experience is necessary.
• The candidate must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in machine learning, specifically with LLMs and MoEs.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and/or PyTorch are essential.
• The ability to lead complex projects and work collaboratively in a team environment is required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation are necessary.
