Remote Staff/Principal Application Security Engineer

Description:

• Binti is a mission-driven software company focused on reinventing social services, particularly in child welfare.
• The Principal Security Engineer will ensure the security and integrity of Binti’s software applications, working closely with full-stack engineers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Application Security Engineer or similar role, with a strong technical background in full-stack development and cloud computing.
• Strong understanding of web application security principles, common vulnerabilities, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in cultivating a security-aware development culture through mentorship and automation.
• Passion for leveraging technology to address social challenges, particularly in improving outcomes for children in need.
• Prior experience with GovTech or FedRamp is a plus.
