Remote Staff Security Engineer

Description:

• Assured is modernizing insurance by providing software solutions for claims processing.
• The Staff Security Engineer will scale and mature security across the platform, infrastructure, and development workflows.

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of application security, cloud security, and modern threat landscapes.
• Strong software engineering background with experience in production-grade code (Python, Typescript, etc.).
• Hands-on experience securing AWS cloud-native infrastructure.
• Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and security telemetry pipelines.
• Proven ability to collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining security risks to stakeholders.
• Experience with Kubernetes, container security, and infrastructure-as-code.
