Remote Staff Site Reliability Engineer

• The Staff Site Reliability Engineer will be a senior technical authority, shaping engineering culture and ensuring robust technical execution.
• Responsibilities include owning the roadmap for Observability & Alerting and Platform Infrastructure, mentoring engineers, and influencing reliability strategy.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE, with 6+ years in SRE and 3+ years leading complex initiatives.
• Expert-level knowledge in observability, platform infrastructure, incident response, and reliability engineering.
• Advanced experience with container orchestration (preferably Kubernetes) and observability platforms (e.g., New Relic, Datadog).
• Strong software engineering skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
• Proven mentoring ability and clear communication of technical risks.
• Experience in regulated environments (FedRAMP, CJIS, HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI) is preferred.
