Remote Staff Site Reliability Engineer

Description:

• Join Pismo's Platform Engineering team as a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, focusing on building and evolving a containerized platform for critical workloads.
• Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of core platform components, ensuring high availability and operational excellence through SRE principles and automation.

Requirements:

• Must be based in Brazil with proficiency in English at B1 level or above.
• Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and Kubernetes at scale.
• Expertise in Service Mesh technologies (preferably Istio) and Infrastructure as Code practices (e.g., Terraform).
• Proven ability to operate complex distributed systems and strong incident management skills.
• 5+ years of experience or 2+ years with an advanced degree in a relevant field.
