Description:

  • Join Stream as a Staff Software Engineer, focusing on backend systems for Chat or Activity Feeds.
  • Work in Amsterdam, Toronto, Skopje, or remotely from the EU, with visa and relocation support available.

Requirements:

  • Extensive backend engineering experience with technical leadership in production systems.
  • Proficiency in Go, Python, or another backend language with willingness to switch to Go.
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and in-memory data stores (e.g., Redis).
  • Familiarity with building public APIs or SDKs, and comfort with infrastructure and database work, including Kubernetes.
  • Good written and spoken English skills.
