Description:
- Lead the design and development of scalable backend APIs and services for IBM Cloud integration.
- Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Partner teams to create intuitive and maintainable interfaces.
- Guide the evolution of Sysdig's managed service capabilities in cloud environments.
- Influence long-term architecture and technical direction for integrations with IBM Cloud.
- Champion quality and clarity in system and API design.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews and mentorship.
Requirements:
- Experience designing and building distributed backend systems and APIs.
- Knowledge of cloud fundamentals and ability to learn IBM Cloud specifics quickly.
- Familiarity with IAM and access patterns; IBM Cloud IAM experience is a plus.
- Good understanding of SaaS operations and Kubernetes.
- Development experience in Java, Go, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL data stores.
- Understanding of API best practices and proficiency with standard engineering tools.
