Description:
- Join Patreon as a Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure to support the mission of funding the creative class.
- Work with the Data Foundations team to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers data products and analytics.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years in data or platform infrastructure.
- Proficient in architecting batch and stream processing systems at scale (e.g., Airflow, Spark, Kafka).
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; familiarity with Java, Scala, or Go is a plus.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and various data stores (e.g., S3, MySQL, DynamoDB).
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
