Description:

Lead a small team of engineers, providing technical mentorship, code review, and architectural guidance.
Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to shape roadmap priorities and translate customer needs into scalable solutions.
Architect and build complex features using React, TypeScript, Python (Django), Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
Drive engineering best practices, including testing, code quality, and tooling improvements.
Own technical delivery from design through deployment, focusing on performance, reliability, and monitoring.
Identify areas of improvement in the codebase, development workflow, and team processes.
Serve as a thought partner to engineering leadership in scaling systems and mentoring others.
Build empathy for customers to ensure products are intuitive, impactful, and reliable.

Requirements:

10+ years of professional software engineering experience with substantial full stack development.
Proven experience leading engineering teams, including mentorship and technical decision-making.
Strong frontend skills with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
Significant backend experience with Python (Django) and Node.js, including building and scaling APIs.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and tools like Kafka.
Deep understanding of software design principles, testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions balancing speed, quality, and maintainability.
Strong communication skills and ability to advocate for technical solutions across stakeholders.

Competitive salary range of $200,000 - $250,000, with final offers based on multiple factors.
