Remote Staff Software Engineer, Infrastructure

Description:

• Skydio is a leading US drone company specializing in autonomous flight technology.
• The Cloud infrastructure team ensures the Skydio Cloud platform is reliable and available for various use cases, including inspections and rescue operations.
• The Staff Infrastructure Engineer will support the Kubernetes fleet and make software changes to enhance the core product.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or a similar infrastructure role.
• Proficient in debugging and automating Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with coding (Python or Go preferred) to address underlying issues.
• Familiarity with continuous deployment systems and cloud architecture (networking, security, storage).
• Must meet U.S. government security and access-control requirements.

Benefits:
