Description:
- Seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Infrastructure team to build and maintain systems for a platform used by over a billion people.
- Responsible for defining performance metrics, making infrastructure decisions, and developing internal tools to enhance deployment and debugging processes.
Requirements:
- Proficient in production coding with Go, Python, or similar languages; scripting-only backgrounds are not suitable.
- Strong system design skills with experience in high-scale production systems and the ability to make informed decisions on infrastructure.
- Familiarity with networking, storage, concurrency, and the ability to analyze system behavior.
- Experience with Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, AWS, GCP, and real-time systems is a plus.
