Description:

Headway is on a mission to create an accessible mental healthcare system by automating administrative tasks like credentialing and claims.
The engineering team is small but impactful, focusing on building tools for therapists and enhancing patient experiences.

Requirements:

8+ years of software engineering experience, preferably at a Staff-level or equivalent.
Experience designing and building high-volume, event-driven communication platforms (email, SMS, etc.) with millions of events per month.
Strong understanding of multi-vendor delivery stacks and experience with experimentation infrastructure (A/B testing, analytics).
Familiarity with LLM-powered systems in production, focusing on reliability and performance.
Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
