Description:
- Astronomer is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for its Platform Infrastructure team to build foundational systems for its multi-cloud platform.
- The role involves designing and developing production platform systems that ensure scalability and operational maturity, impacting enterprise customers.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and their failure modes.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and experience operating clusters under load.
- Strong skills in Go programming and experience building production systems.
- Multi-cloud architectural decision-making experience across AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
- Ability to define requirements and drive technology choices within an engineering organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Benefits:
- Estimated total compensation ranges from €140,000 to €215,000, including equity.
