The company is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Platform Engineering team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining systems and infrastructure.
The role involves ensuring operational integrity of infrastructure and implementing DevOps processes to enhance productivity for other engineers.
The engineer will contribute to the development and operation of Omada’s digital health program infrastructure.
Responsibilities include building and scaling the platform to deliver personalized experiences to program participants and empowering health coaches.
The engineer will collaborate closely with the Platform team and internal customers from various departments, including Product Engineering, InfoSec, and IT.
The role requires managing high availability services with a focus on redundancy and disaster recovery.
The engineer will work on improving developer tooling and capabilities, maintain Gitlab CI/CD infrastructure, and mentor team members.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience designing and building diverse AWS cloud architectures.
Expert experience in building and operating Kubernetes clusters is required.
Deep experience with Terraform and Ansible is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with Datadog application performance monitoring, custom metrics, and logs.
Comfort in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting persistent virtual Linux hosts and volumes is essential.
Skills in building, deploying, and orchestrating Docker images and containers are required.
Great communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary, including the ability to write documentation for others.
Candidates must be ready to participate in an on-call rotation.
