Description:

Full lifecycle ownership of architecture, solution design, development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of 300+ RESTful microservices.
Manage a team of ~5 developers, including conducting 1:1s, performance reviews, and team improvement.
Actively contribute code and complete tasks personally, not just delegate work.
Conduct code reviews, enforce coding/architecture best practices, and provide actionable feedback.
Mentor team members, support their development, conduct developer interviews, and set an example in using AI coding assistants.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience leading developer teams and software projects.
5+ years of modern Java programming experience with a focus on clean code and best practices.
Solid understanding of microservice architectures and AWS services (e.g., ECS, SQS/SNS, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch).
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Spring technologies, including Spring Boot (preferably Spring Cloud).
Excellent communication skills, able to clarify business needs and collaborate across teams; experience with AI coding tools is a bonus.
