Remote Tech Lead (d/m/w) – Data, AI & Platform (Remote)

Description:

• Lead the technical architecture of a complex Data and AI product focused on Skills Intelligence.
• Define technical direction and develop a roadmap in alignment with the overall tech strategy.
• Collaborate with an expert team to enhance data and AI foundations, including knowledge models and data pipelines.
• Design APIs and platform services ensuring stable and scalable interfaces for a good developer experience.
• Integrate security, DevOps, and engineering excellence into architecture and development processes.
• Work closely with the Business Owner to align business, product, and technology perspectives.
• Act as a coach and sparring partner for engineers, facilitating technical decisions and promoting ownership.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in software, data, or platform environments with technical responsibility for complex systems.
• Ability to evaluate architecture decisions based on business impact, scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Experience in leading experienced engineers and making collaborative technical decisions.
• Knowledge of modern architectures for data-intensive applications, APIs, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with cloud and AI technologies, ideally AWS, TypeScript, and related tools.
• Practical experience with data and/or AI products, including LLMs and generative AI.
• Understanding of cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and security by design.
• Strong communication skills across all levels, from engineering teams to management.
• Proficient in German and English (minimum C1).
