Troubleshooting hardware equipment and software applications, as well as recommending corrective actions, will be part of the role.
Documenting customer communication and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and development is essential.
Requirements:
The candidate must have a working knowledge of the networking industry, products, and protocols.
Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging, and administering various network protocols and technologies.
Experience with troubleshooting tools like IXIA, tcpdump, and Wireshark is highly desired.
Comfort with Linux and familiarity with programming/scripting languages like C++, Java, Python, Perl, JavaScript, shell, Cloud Environment, and Automation is a plus.
Strong analytical skills, ability to triage, high aptitude for learning and teaching, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Minimum education requirement is a B.S or ideally an MS in a technical field (CS/EE preferred) or related.
Industry certifications are preferred, and prior TAC experience is a plus.
