Description:

Join TrashLab, the operating system for waste haulers, to transform waste fleet operations.
Design, build, and maintain backend services for vehicle tracking, route optimization, billing, and dispatch.
Ensure reliability and observability of the platform with monitoring and alerting practices.
Model and evolve Postgres schema and manage integrations with third-party systems.
Collaborate with the founding team to shape long-term backend architecture decisions.

Requirements:

Strong backend fundamentals with experience in production Node.js services, API design, and database performance.
Experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably on AWS or GCP, with knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Terraform.
Ownership mindset to tackle ambiguous problems and deliver solutions independently.
Familiarity with operational software and AI multi-agent systems.
