Remote Web Developer Security Engineer

Description:

• Protect mission-critical web applications, APIs, and sensitive data by embedding security across the software development lifecycle.
• Responsibilities include identifying vulnerabilities, driving the vulnerability lifecycle, supporting secure design patterns, reviewing logs for anomalies, implementing automation scripts, and participating in audits and risk assessments.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of experience in web application security or secure software development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with secure software development, DevSecOps automation, and vulnerability remediation.
• Proficiency in .NET technologies, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, REST APIs, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, secure coding standards, WAFs, and security testing tools.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Current security certifications (e.g., CSSLP, GWEB, OSWE) maintained for a minimum of five years.
• Ability to meet federal screening and suitability requirements.
