The company is scaling a high-performance, EVM-compatible Layer 2 designed to host the next generation of decentralized applications, with a strong focus on DeFi.
The DeFi team is responsible for the balance and attractiveness of the Tezos DeFi ecosystem.
As a Web3 Technical Lead, you will ensure the technical success of DeFi projects built by external partners on the infrastructure.
The role requires a deep understanding of the entire dApp stack, including oracles, node providers, and bridges.
The position can be based in either London or Paris offices or remotely within a 3-hour timezone of these locations.
Responsibilities include advising senior management, collaborating with dapps engineering teams, improving security, and participating in community discussions.
Requirements:
A deep understanding of DeFi protocols such as AMMs, staking, lending, liquid staking, and tokenomics is required.
A solid grasp of Layer 2 concepts including rollups, bridging, transaction lifecycle, and user experience tradeoffs is necessary.
Familiarity with a wide array of EVM infrastructure projects, including bridges, node providers, tooling, automation, oracles, and auditors is essential.
Proven experience in reviewing smart contracts in a production-grade DeFi context, with familiarity in Solidity and the EVM developer ecosystem (Hardhat, Foundry, OpenZeppelin) is required.
Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to both developers and product stakeholders are necessary.
A passion for Web3 and the decentralized finance movement is essential.
Nice to have: Experience in DevRel / DevOps / Front-end roles, previous open-source contributions, familiarity with multi-chain deployments, and knowledge of off-chain scripting.
