Remote WES Solutions Architect

Description:

• Own the functional definition of software scope, translating sales into buildable software.
• Collaborate with Solutions Software team on presales, proposal generation, and software design specifications.
• Lead detailed design workshops and conduct onsite discovery to validate operational requirements.
• Maintain alignment between specifications and development throughout the project lifecycle.
• Author integration specifications for various subsystems and define IT/network requirements.
• Travel to customer sites as needed, with anticipated travel up to 50%.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software development, systems analysis, or technical project delivery for WES/WCS, WMS.
• Technical bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience writing design specifications and integration documents.
• Understanding of material handling automation and warehouse execution systems.
• Hands-on experience with integrations, REST/APIs, and EDI.
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum environments and project management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
