Description:
- The Backend Developer will be responsible for writing low-latency financial software, such as order book matching engines and trading engines.
- They will build high-performance REST and WebSocket APIs to support frontend applications and programmatic traders.
- Developing open-source TypeScript clients for interacting with on-chain smart contracts.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the best product outcomes.
- Leading both frontend and backend teams to enhance development processes.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 3 years of full-time software development experience.
- Proficient in safe, efficient coding with a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSockets, and Docker.
- Essential experience with cryptocurrency exchanges and blockchain technology.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to effectively lead frontend and backend teams.
