Description:

  • Nearsure is seeking a Staff .NET Engineer to manage and implement business knowledge and technical skills, deploying and managing production systems, and supporting environments with an emphasis on engineering backend and PaaS-focused products and services.
  • The role involves working on a no/low code solution for customer workflow automation and taking charge of a refactor effort of a Ruby on Rails project to optimize, fix critical bugs, break it into microservices, and convert parts into C#.
  • Responsibilities include developing new applications and services using C#, Ruby, microservices technology, Azure PaaS offerings, and other appropriate technologies.
  • The engineer will document architectural designs, build and test new designs, interpret functional/non-functional requirements, maintain existing applications, estimate and plan work, gauge platform performance, and prepare and install solutions.
  • The position requires participation in team exercises for collaboration, guiding and mentoring team development efforts, and supporting software engineers through advice and educational opportunities.
  • The role consists of 90% coding and 10% mentoring other engineers.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must have 7+ years of experience working as a Back-End developer.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience with C# / .NET, Microservices, and AWS is required.
  • Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience with Kubernetes and Postgres, as well as building scalable cloud-native architecture.
  • Experience leading a team of 5 or more people for at least 2 years is necessary.
  • An advanced level of English is required for effective communication with US clients.
