Description:

  • Nearsure is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to develop, maintain, test, and optimize a new modern software platform architecture.
  • The role involves shifting away from monolithic products and services to a more modern architecture.
  • The Senior .NET Engineer will report to the Manager of Software Engineering and must be highly skilled in various modernization technologies and approaches.
  • Responsibilities include developing and implementing a scalable, flexible, and highly available platform architecture, participating in architectural discussions, and documenting the modernized software platform.
  • The engineer will build and test new ideas using a โ€œfail fastโ€ methodology, assist junior and mid-level engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements.
  • The role requires utilizing public cloud services, particularly Azure or AWS, to optimize platform performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • The engineer will troubleshoot complex technical issues and stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working with .NET.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience with C# is necessary.
  • At least 2+ years of experience working with Microservices is required.
  • Candidates should have 2+ years of experience working with AWS.
  • An advanced English level is required for effective communication with US clients.
