Description:

• The Senior Elixir Backend Engineer position at Nearsure involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications using Elixir and Phoenix frameworks.
• The successful candidate will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define software requirements and specifications.
• Responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, developing and integrating APIs, troubleshooting and debugging applications, and optimizing applications for speed and scalability.
• The role also involves conducting code reviews, staying updated with emerging technologies, mentoring junior developers, participating in architectural discussions, and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working with Elixir and Phoenix.
• 2+ years of experience working with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• 2+ years of experience working with APIs and SQL.
• Advanced English level is required for effective communication with US clients.
