Description:
We are seeking a skilled VoIP Integration Engineer to design, optimize, and oversee the implementation of our company’s VoIP infrastructure.
Your primary focus will be on architecting scalable and reliable VoIP solutions, integrating them seamlessly with existing systems, and ensuring high-performance communication across all platforms.
This role requires expertise in VoIP systems and protocols, a deep understanding of integration practices, and the ability to address complex architectural challenges.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing VoIP system architecture, collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs, developing and maintaining standards and documentation, configuring and optimizing VoIP solutions, troubleshooting performance issues, leading the deployment of advanced VoIP features, evaluating emerging technologies, implementing security measures, and training internal teams.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field is required.
Proven expertise in VoIP architecture and system integration, including designing and implementing scalable solutions, is necessary.
In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP, RTP, and H.323 and their application in diverse environments is essential.
Strong experience in unified communications platforms like Cisco, Avaya, Asterisk, and Microsoft Teams is required.
Familiarity with cloud-based VoIP solutions and platforms, preferably AWS or similar, is needed.
An advanced understanding of VoIP hardware and software, including PBX systems, softphones, and gateways, is important.
Experience with system performance monitoring and optimization tools tailored for VoIP is required.
Proficiency in UNIX/Linux-based environments and scripting for system automation is necessary.
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on VoIP system security and reliability are essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration are required.
Experience with creating comprehensive VoIP architecture diagrams and system documentation is necessary.
