Description:
Nearsure is seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to assist in developing the platform and data abstractions that will scale as they continue to grow.
The role involves understanding Avetta's SaaS RESTful API and integration platform, as well as being responsible for developing and delivering new components and features.
The successful candidate will work with the product management and development team to design, develop, and deliver features and enhancements.
Collaboration with peers to develop clean, readable, testable, high-quality, performant, and secure code is essential.
Pair and team programming approaches will be used for code development, along with performing peer code reviews and walk-throughs.
Automation of testing and deployment of software will enable the delivery of improvements to customers on a regular basis.
Close collaboration with the agile team is required to innovate and improve processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
5+ years of experience working with Java is required.
2+ years of experience working with Scala is necessary.
2+ years of experience working with Microservices is essential.
2+ years of experience working with RESTful API is a must.
2+ years of experience working with MongoDB is a prerequisite.
An advanced level of English is required for effective communication with US clients.
