Description:
The Senior Software Test Engineer position at Nearsure involves demonstrating expert-level skills in test automation tools and strategies.
The role requires a deep understanding of the process of building and deploying software in both cloud and desktop environments.
The Senior Software Test Engineer will drive the automated test strategy throughout the testing organization and report to the Senior Manager of Software Engineering.
Responsibilities include evaluating, recommending, and implementing tools and frameworks to improve the testing infrastructure's effectiveness.
The candidate will recommend improvements to testing processes, technologies, and interfaces to enhance testing teams' effectiveness and reduce technical debt.
Leading quality-related work, training, and mentoring team members is a key aspect of the role.
The Senior Software Test Engineer will own the testing automation strategy, test data management strategy, and test automation for the entire testing organization.
Maintaining existing test automation frameworks for all applications that automation currently supports is also part of the responsibilities.
Writing, debugging, and executing code for both API and UI automated testing efforts.
Defining, implementing, and managing processes and best practices regarding automated testing.
Providing metrics on business processes and code coverage for automated test suites.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any engineering career.
5+ years of experience working with Manual Testing.
5+ years of experience working with Automation Testing.
2+ years of experience working with C#, Java, or another OOP language.
2+ years of experience working with Selenium.
2+ years of experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
2+ years of experience working with Microservices.
Advanced English Level is required for effective communication with US clients.
