Description:

  • The Senior Software Test Engineer position at Nearsure involves demonstrating expert-level skills in test automation tools and strategies.
  • The role requires a deep understanding of the process of building and deploying software in both cloud and desktop environments.
  • The Senior Software Test Engineer will drive the automated test strategy throughout the testing organization and report to the Senior Manager of Software Engineering.
  • Responsibilities include evaluating, recommending, and implementing tools and frameworks to improve the testing infrastructure's effectiveness.
  • The candidate will recommend improvements to testing processes, technologies, and interfaces to enhance testing teams' effectiveness and reduce technical debt.
  • Leading quality-related work, training, and mentoring team members is a key aspect of the role.
  • The Senior Software Test Engineer will own the testing automation strategy, test data management strategy, and test automation for the entire testing organization.
  • Maintaining existing test automation frameworks for all applications that automation currently supports is also part of the responsibilities.
  • Writing, debugging, and executing code for both API and UI automated testing efforts.
  • Defining, implementing, and managing processes and best practices regarding automated testing.
  • Providing metrics on business processes and code coverage for automated test suites.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any engineering career.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Manual Testing.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Automation Testing.
  • 2+ years of experience working with C#, Java, or another OOP language.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Selenium.
  • 2+ years of experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Microservices.
  • Advanced English Level is required for effective communication with US clients.
