Description:
Nearsure is seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to join their remote LATAM team, focusing on data visualization and reporting within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
The role involves developing and optimizing data solutions that drive insightful business decisions.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards using Power BI, translating business requirements into actionable data insights, and managing detailed reports using Power BI Report Builder or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
The candidate will also develop and manage ETL processes using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and/or Azure Synapse Analytics, assist in managing data warehouse environments, and utilize Azure DevOps for code deployment and continuous integration.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate data solutions is essential.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
The candidate must have 3+ years of experience working with Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server, as well as data engineering.
Experience managing data warehouse environments and working with star schema architectures or data lake environments for 3+ years is necessary.
The candidate should have 3+ years of experience working with ETL processes over SSIS and 1+ year of experience with Power BI Report Builder or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and integration tasks for at least 1 year is required.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric or over 2 years working with Azure Data Factory and/or Azure Synapse Analytics is essential.
A Microsoft Certification DP600 โ Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate is preferred.
An advanced English level is required for effective communication with US clients.
