Description:

  • Nearsure is seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Microsoft Fabric Engineer to join their remote LATAM team.
  • The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing data infrastructure and platforms.
  • The engineer will lead the team in implementing scalable and efficient data solutions that support business objectives.
  • Responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable data architectures using SQL, stored procedures, and ETL processes.
  • The engineer will ensure robust data pipelines and efficient data flow across systems.
  • Creating and managing interactive dashboards using Power BI is a key task.
  • Collaboration with data analysts to translate business requirements into actionable data insights is essential.
  • The role includes overseeing the management and optimization of data warehouse environments to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Utilizing Azure DevOps for code deployment and continuous integration is required.
  • The engineer will develop technical roadmaps and prototypes for data engineering projects.
  • Staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in data engineering is expected.
  • The engineer will convene with various stakeholders to collect, document, and prioritize their needs.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL and data engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience managing data warehouse environments with star schema architecture or data lake environments is necessary.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Python is required.
  • 3+ years of experience with Power BI is essential.
  • 3+ years of experience with ETL processes over SSIS is needed.
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure Data Factory and/or Azure Synapse Analytics is required.
  • 1+ year of experience with Power BI Report Builder or SSRS is necessary.
  • A Microsoft Certification DP600 โ€“ Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate is required.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for code deployment is essential.
  • An advanced English level is required for effective communication with US clients.
