• Nearsure is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join their remote LATAM team.
• The role involves ensuring code is well-written and architected according to best practices for performance, scalability, reliability, and usability.
• Responsibilities include being a hands-on developer, creating and operating an automated build pipeline, monitoring escalation channels, investigating issues, and participating in code reviews.
• The engineer will also mentor junior engineers and document processes and procedures clearly.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 6+ years of experience working with Java.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Spring and SQL is necessary.
• At least 4 years of experience in Automation Testing and AWS is required.
• Candidates should have 3+ years of experience working with REST APIs.
• A willingness to learn PHP is expected.
• An advanced level of English is required for effective communication with US clients.
