Description:

The Senior Data Engineer designs, builds, and supports data pipelines that consume data from multiple source systems and transform it into valuable and insightful information.
This role is responsible for creating scalable and conformed data models to support reporting and analytics functions.
You will design, implement, and support a platform providing access to large datasets.
The position involves creating unified enterprise data models for analytics and reporting.
You will design and build robust and scalable data integration (ETL) pipelines using SQL, Python, and Data Bricks.
As part of an Agile development team, you will contribute to architecture, tools, and development process improvements.
You will work closely with product management, peer system, and software engineering teams to clarify requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, operable solutions that fit within the overall data architecture.
The role includes coordinating data models, data dictionaries, and other database documentation across multiple applications.
You will lead design reviews of data deliverables such as models, data flows, and data quality assessments.
The position promotes data modeling standardization and defines and drives the adoption of the standards.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
You must have 7+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or business analytics.
A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting a large data platform and data pipelining is necessary.
You should have at least 5 years of experience working with Python.
A minimum of 4 years of experience working with SQL is required.
You must have at least 4 years of experience working with Snowflake.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with AWS Services is necessary.
You should have at least 2 years of experience working with ETL processes.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Data Modeling is required.
You must have at least 2 years of experience working with Database Design.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Data Mining is necessary.
An advanced English level is required for this role, as effective communication in English is essential for delivering the best solutions to clients.
