Description:

  • Nearsure is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Java Engineer to join their remote LATAM team.
  • The role involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of the Event Hub platform.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating with multifunctional teams to analyze, design, and implement cloud-native software solutions.
  • The engineer will develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code, participate in code and design reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
  • The position requires evaluating new cloud-native technologies and ensuring adherence to software development processes.
  • The engineer will also write and maintain technical documentation, implement CI/CD pipelines, and manage relational and non-relational databases in a cloud-native environment.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working with Java.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with AWS (ECS) is necessary.
  • Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in Microservices and Architecture.
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD practices is required.
  • Candidates must have 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) is necessary.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Kafka is required.
  • An advanced level of English is essential for effective communication with US clients.
