Description:

Nearsure is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their remote LATAM team.
The role involves developing robust data-driven solutions and ensuring seamless data validation processes.
Responsibilities include writing code to test and validate business logic in SQL databases, testing back-end API interfaces for a financial platform, and building tools to enhance developer productivity.
The engineer will provide risk assessments on defects, define quality engineering procedures, and participate in Scrum meetings for status updates.
The position requires organizing and resolving backlog issues and handling specific tasks without architectural duties.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
A minimum of 3 years of experience working with SQL and Python is necessary.
Experience with Cloud technologies for at least 2 years is required.
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience working with Microservices and Databases.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools for at least 2 years is essential.
An advanced level of English is required for effective communication with US clients.
