Nearsure is seeking a talented Semi Senior Data Engineer to join their remote LATAM team, focusing on data visualization and reporting within the Microsoft Power BI and Fabric ecosystem.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards using Power BI.
You will work with data analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable data insights.
Responsibilities include creating and managing detailed reports using Power BI Report Builder or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
You will develop and manage ETL processes using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and/or Azure Synapse Analytics to ensure efficient data flow and integrity.
The position also requires assisting in managing data warehouse environments and optimizing data storage solutions for high performance and data quality.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate data solutions is essential.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience working with Power BI.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Data Engineering is necessary.
At least 2+ years of experience in data warehouse or data lake environments, specifically with star schema architectures, is required.
Candidates should have 1+ years of experience with Power BI Report Builder or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
An advanced level of English is required, as effective communication in English is essential for working with US clients.
